The last half of May was a wonderful time. New Mexico Magazine published a positive, nicely worded review of Melissa’s Gift in their June issue. It is perfect timing since the reading at Collected Works in Santa Fe is scheduled for June 18, the day after Father’s Day. May also saw presentations at Albuquerque’s First Unitarian Church and Teambuilders in Santa Fe. Two highly different but equally appreciative audiences. Never get tired of warm applause (although nothing has ever matched the appreciation of the Nicaraguan school children described in Chapter 54 of MELISSA’S GIFT. May was also wonderful because of connecting with Linda Guisell on Facebook. (I love Facebook now). Looking ahead, 6 presentations are upcoming in June. Should be great fun!
